It seems like the thing to do these days when you have 2 or 3 successful titles under your belt, is to then leave with a few of your cronies and start a new dev house. This is exactly what Bob Rafei and E. Daniel Arey did. The new studio, Big Red Button Entertainment, is apparently working on 6 original next gen titles. Six! Imagine that. You can bet at least half will be platformers since the resume of the founders reads like a who's who of top platform games. Jak, Daxter, Crash, etc.

It seems that Yahoo is interested in partnering up with Fox Interactive Media to help pull it out of the current internet slump. Fox includes such sites as IGN.com, so that would be a huge boost for Yahoo, at least in the games reporting department. Stay tuned!

GameDaily spoke with Peter Moore, the Microsoft to EA convert. Moore says that EA needs to get behind Nintendo and its platforms. He mentioned the EA sports label specifically.
