Bethesda has posted 5 new gameplay videos for Fallout 3 over at the official website. This is going to be one of the biggest games of the year, and it still looks just great. You should be able to get a great idea about the gameplay from this footage, as well.

The legendary Tomonobu Itagaki, the man behind Team Ninja, and the current Tecmo debacle, told 1up that PS3 is easier to develop for than the Famicom. In his regular stylish fashion, he maintains that if you give someone who programs for the PS3 a Famicom, and tell them to make a game, they will not be able to. Good news for Sony fans.

"One more thing I would add is that I don't think that developing for the PS3 is hard at all. It was much harder developing for the Famicom. It's true. I mean, give someone who's developing for the PS3 a Famicom and see if they can make a game for it. They won't be able to. Yeah, that'll prove it. We'll bet a drink on it."

No matter what, there will always be some measure of animosity between the Guitar Hero guys and the Rock Band team. It is just one of those things, folks. To that end, the devs at Guitar Hero, who are currently finalizing designing their drum peripheral, have called out Harmonix for their plan to release clip-on cymbals for Rock Band set-ups. Let the games begin, so to speak.

"I've a feeling there was a: 'Oh s***! There's cymbals! How can we put cymbals on our kit?' That would be the easiest way without having to rewire everything and re-engineer the entire circuit board."

Sony Worldwide studio head Shuhei Yoshida has revealed that they are ramping up to reveal the next Fumito Ueda game (the man behind the team behind Ico and Colossus). No comment right now, of course, but we can expect the first details at the Tokyo Game Show. Considering how unique and fantastic looking Colossus was on the PS2, we cannot wait to see what they have done with the PS3. It could be the first truly killer game on the Sony console.

“But I can say that they’ve been working very hard since the release of Shadow of the Colossus. Soon you’ll see.”

As we all know, the legendary Tomonobu Itagaki, and many of his Team Ninja, recently had a falling out with Tecmo, and ended up leaving Tecmo and filing suit against many of the Tecmo CEOs. Well, Itagaki finally has decided to speak, and 1up was there. Inside a small bar, Itagaki talks about the stagnating state of Japanese gaming, how Western developers are doing things better right now, and much much more. Check it out.

Videogamer spoke with a few different Blizzard executives and they all apparently are saying the same thing. It is not that they have anything against consoles, but they games just do not lend themselves to console gaming. We can see that being true for WoW, but games like Starcraft II and Diablo III, which Blizzard Exec VP Frank Pearce recently told Videogamer.com would likely not hit home consoles, seem like they would port well. The LOTR and C&C RTS games more or less proved this through their Xbox360 success.
