According to a Take 2 financial report released on the web today, GTA Liberty City Stories is headed to the Playstation 2. That's right, the PS2. The game is due out sometime during Q2 this year, more info when we have it.

Additional products expected for fiscal 2006 include the newly announced Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for PlayStation 2, tentatively planned for release in the second quarter

According to CVG, Sony has finally announced a release date for Shadow Of The Colossus in Europe. February 17th will see this great game hit stores across the pond. As if that wasn't good news enough, Sony is also planning a re-release of Ico, the game that the SOTC team made previous to Colossus, on the same day, February 17th. Better start saving up now Euro gamers!

The scans from this week's Famitsu are in, and there are some real nice shots of Monster Hunter 2 and the new DQ game, Dragon Quest: Yagnus, both for the Playstation 2. The Monster Hunter images look great, you can surely see the improvement over Monster Hunter 1. The Dragon Quest images though, well it looks good I suppose, but I am just not a fan of that style of art.

Sony has sent along a bunch of screens from the upcoming RPG sequel Wild Arms 4. This game, as you well know, is the fourth installment in the widely popular Wild Arms series, and has a lot to make up for after the lukewarm-at-best response to Wild Arms 3. EA sends along a few screens from the upcoming college baseball game for the PS2 and XBox. The game looks about as good as you would expect on a current gen console, no surprises. Click on the news title for the images.

We have some new screens today for you from the new World Of Mana game for the Playstation 2. This next game in the Mana series is filled with vibrant colors and looks pretty damn good for the hardware it is on (PS2). Click on the news title for the screens, some show actual gameplay.

Ruliweb has posted some footage from the new Okami RPG game for the PS2. This game is one of the most beautiful games we have seen in a while, as you will see for yourself. Remeber, the video is hosted on Ruliweb so be patient, they do nto have the best download speed.

The first trailer for the Playstation 2 edition of the new Valkyrie Profile game has been released, and it looks hot. The video shows CG story elements of the game as well as actual gameplay footage. Also, if you can read Japanese you can even get a bit of insight into the game's storyline. Both this game and the PSP remake of the the original Valkyrie Profile (VP Lenneth) will be must-owns (for RPG fans at least). Click on the news title for the video.
