The new RPG being developed by Sony for the PSP is called Blade Dancer: Sennen No Yakusoku (The Thousand Year Old Promise). This game is scheduled for a March 2 release next year in Japan, and no US date has been announced yet. If you look at the images you can see the game has sort of a Phantasy Star feel, but the PSP still needs its first real traditional RPG game. Click on the news title for the images.

PSPUpdates has some new detils for the Armored Core game for the PSP, Armored Core: Forumula Front. AC:FF will now feature two different ways to battle head to head. For those who prefer to use combat strategies and then unleash the mechs, there is the AI AC play method. For those who like to actually pilor the mechs, there is the manual control play option. The game will also connect to the Playstation 2 version of Formula Front when it is released.

The screens are small and on the back of the packshot, but you can still see them. This game is the rebirth of one of the best shooters of all time, and if it is done right, may just be one of the best PSP games to date. Click on the news title for the images.

Konami sends along a few new screenshots from Metal Gear Acid 2 for the PSP. This game looks better than the original MGA for PSP, although not by much. Remember though, this game comes with the stereoscopic 3D add-on device. How well it will work is anyone's guess. Click on the news title for the screens.

Famitsu has posted the first details and screenshots on Tales Of Eternia MMORPG that Namco is planning in Japan. The screens show a game that is well, pretty sub-standard compared to today's PC MMORPG games, but then again, it is a Tales game on the PSP. If someone would be so kind as to translate the JP on the page please email me.

It seems that Japanese publisher Ertain has announced a sequel to the widely popular Playstation 1 import, Boxer's Road, for the Sony PSP. Don't let the title fool you though, the game is a remake of the Playstation 1 game. Players can live the life of a boxer from the first time in the gym to the title fight. Seem the PSP is ripe for the PS1 remakes.
