Developer Backs Up PSP-4000 Rumors > |

Last week we told you about the new PSP-4000/PSP 2 rumors that were circulating the web. Well, it seems that a developer source close to Sony has confirmed to Eurogamer, under pain of death, that the rumors are indeed true. The new until will no longer feature a UMD drive, the screen will slide in and out, and with the screen closed, only the shoulder buttons will be usable. This will allow games like LocoRoco, that only utilize those buttons, to be played in closed mode. The closed mode will also be used for media playback. We cannot wait to see the final design for the unit.
