	Well, the rumored third installment in the Max Payne series has finally become reality, and the developer behind it is not who you may think. Rockstar Games will be handling the coding duties this time around, and this will be Max "as we've never seen him before." Apparently, since leaving the NYPD, Max has gone from bad to worse. Having been duped, and now trapped in a city full of evil, he has to find a way out. Sounds like it could go either way. We will find out in Winter 2009. >Link

YES!!!! wooot i loved the second one and this one is definately a purchase for me...and hasnt rockstar always done the max payne games..?

No, GoD published the game on the PC and Rockstar published the console versions. The actual game has always been made by Remedy, the team now working on Alan Wake. So I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. I just hope they don't try to do too many new things with it.
