MS Says Lost & Damned Would Have Outsold KZ2 At Retail > |
2009/03/23 14:26:56: Posted by DM | |
Aaron Greenberg, MS Xbox Boss, stated that the GTA IV add-on DLC, The Lost & Damned, "would have outsold Killzone 2" if it was a traditional retail release. He went on to say that the XBL GTA episode DLC was now the "most successful game add-on content ever launched by MS." No surprise there. If the content was released at retail stores, he says, it would be one of the best sellers across all platforms. A new GTA game? That goes without saying, of course. The sales figures for the Lost & Damned are estimated at over 1 million, while Killzone has sold 323,000 units in February in North America. Once the official numbers are in on both sides, we can get a better idea of just how true this statement made by MS is.

KZ2 sold 323,000 in two days. Aaron Greenberg, trying to douche it up like some of the Sony PR types? You're doing a great job.

I miss Peter Moore =(Comments like this only show insecurities and make you sound stupid. I like the work Aaron has done with XNA, but as a PR person, he's a clown like the rest.

Microsoft, please don't pick on Sony, you've already kicked them while they're down.
