Eurogamer got their hands on the new Punch Out!! game for the Nintendo Wii at the GDC expo. The game certainly seems to have impressed the Eurogamer folks, mostly because of its easy playability. The game mechanic that was last seen on the Super Nintendo with Super Punch Out!! seems to be intact, with the pattern-recognition and reflex action gameplay solidly in place. The control is commanded with just the stick and two buttons, not a mix of weird hand-jarring twisting motions and yoga-like arm positioning. We expected nothing less from Nintendo, though. The game sounds like a winner, at least as of now.
