Namco Still Up For Tekken Vs. VF, Game Still Possible >

	Tekken 6 director Katsuhiro Harada says that he is still interested in doing a Tekken Vs. Virtua Fighter game. Namco has openly expressed its desire to bring the two 3D fighting games together in the past, and the desire is still there. The game actually came close to happening a few times, and Namco had even tested elements of a gameplay system that might be used in such a title. Harada said that he has been working on and off for ten years to bring this game to fruition, and went on to say that the chance of it still happening is not zero. "It is possible," he said, to be accurate. There will be "many difficulties during [the] actual development," says Harada, but that is to be expected. It is ultimately up to the fans, says Harada. So, fans, if you want it as bad as we do, make sure to send Harada your opinions, and start posting on the official Namco and Sega forums! It is not like Sega collaborations are unheard of, Sonic & Mario at the Olympics comes to mind. >Link

Hello Fellow Gamers. PLEASE GOD YES .. HELL TO THE YEAH!!!

I really want this to happen.

with the exception of marvel vs capcom 1 & 2, i'm not really a big fan of the "vs" games. that was until i played mortal kombat vs DC. i was simply blown away by the storyline of how the two franchises merged(literally lol)... i never liked playing a VS game where i always ended up fighting the same fighters from the same franchise. like if its xmen vs street fighter, why am i fighting wolverine as cyclops? or fighting ryu as bison? that never made sense to me. at least in the story of MKvsDC they had good reasons as to why Batman fights DC characters(good and bad) and why Raiden fights MK characters. that game alone is a really good VS game, fighting mechanic is ok at best lol......

on subject, i've been a huge fan(VF more) of both franchises, so i would like to see this come to light. hopefully a good story would be created as to why they are fighting in the first place. seeing as both follow the story of a tournament, perhaps a "unified tournament" or something iono...

namco vs sega would be better

Hope you guys get what you want. Even though I loved the Vs series, Fighters Megamix, and MK vs DC, I just don't see this turning out good at all. Every other cross universe game was possible for reasons that Tekken and VF do not share. The gameplay, controls, balance, and everything else is so far off that they would have to alter both games significantly just to make this work.
