Bethesda Reveals Lessons Learned From Fallout DLC Issues >
2009/04/14 19:00:36: Posted by DM
As many of you unfortunately know, Bethesda had many issues with the first major Fallout DLC add-on. It was recalled at least twice, and the freezing and crashing it cause ended up corrupting many a player's save game. Fortunately, many of us Bethesda old school fans, know that with any Bethesda RPG style game it is standard operating procedure to have 3 rolling save games going at once. For those who did not know that, this was a harsh way to learn, we are sorry to say. The DLC "The Pitt" taught Bethesda that there is a difference between a few bugs slipping through the QC cracks, and whole chunks of data missing due to corruption. Big boner with Fallout 3, Bethesda, hopefully you did learn your lesson.
