Universal Puts Verbinki's Bioshock Movie On Hold >
2009/04/27 12:00:41: Posted by DM
Universal Pictures has halted pre-production on the movie adaptation of Bioshock. The film, which was being directed by Pirates of the Carribean man Gore Verbinski, seems to be heading towards an over-inflated budget. To stop this before it happens, Universal has "paused" production at 160 million USD, while the studio looks at other, cheaper, locations to film the movie, preferably in an area where the studio can get a tax credit for filming. Hopefully work resumes soon.

So many game films being made lately. Hopefully if they get produced they will actualy have a good budget and be more than half decent.
