China Gold Farming Ban Actually Not A Ban >
2009/07/02 10:30:23: Posted by DM
It seems the reports that China officially banned gold farming were not exactly correct. In fact, the ban was for the exact opposite of gold farming -- the use of virtual items and gold to buy goods and services in the real world. Using real money to buy virtual items and gold is not a problem, apparently. What China is worried about is that virtual goods and money will start to become a real world second currency, and that is something that would affect the economy badly. So, now that we have that straightened out, you gold buyers can relax.
