No prob, but you accidentally put for ps2 up top :)

This game is sounding as if its going to be like elder scrolls, but far more high tech of course with stunning realism during conversations.. the works. I also know that as you go through the environments stuff like mud or anything that falls of plants can get stuck to your clothes.

It hurts looking at that thing that says this game is for ps2 on main page :P

This game is for the 360...probably just an accident.

I found this really nice breakdown of the ps3 operating system information released recently and turns out the situation isn't as bad it will depend on how many of the spe's the ps3 will use.

I mean how many the GAME will use that will determine the performance impact.

yeh,i also read that. The Cell will handle a little of the graphics, audio and other specs. So Sony will be performing a juggling act...we'll see what happens

Well the 360's cpu is handling audio, graphics and other things like that as well so its not only sony that will have to be balancing things perfectly so achieve the highest amount of performance, but good news for the 360 camp is that developers have had a nice headstart building games for the 360 to figure out the best way to do things.

The cell does some shader work as well, but not enough of it for it to be a graphical match for the 360's gpu, BUT its a nice little advantage to have some shader work taken away from the cpu. Just look at what developers have done with the ps2 they will do some truly amazing things on the ps3. Kojima left with a console with the power of the ps3 and the cell... (MGS4 will be one of E3's most impressive games)

Like the pgr3 team the next pgr game is going to be alot better graphically and run faster.

Did that ps2 logo up top get you guys on the topic of ps3? is this a spontaneous coincidence? or did the comment system link to the wrong article? In any case, the discussions regarding PS3 sound very similar to those about the ps2 when it was on the horizon. The basic them, 'very hard to program for'. One day hopefully this trend will change but game developers and publishers need the challenge to allow them to continue to push the envelope and figure out new and better ways to do things.

It just sucks suffering through the first gen games ;)
