	If IGN is good for one thing, it is their E3 and pre-E3 coverage. Today, among other things, they have another pre-E3 feature for us, this time around they give us the lowdown on Moto GP 2006, the fantastic looking motorcycle racing game slated for the XBox360. The game does indeed look amazing, according to IGN, and the classic Moto GP gameplay is intact. We cannot wait to get our hands on this one at the show. >Link

You see IGN gives props and isn't always Bias. But I have to say this game looks F*cken Awesome. I was so blown away by the graphics. To me it maybe one of the nicest realest games I have ever saw. Even down to the wipe outs of the riders look fantastic. I'm not a big fan of the series, but I got to have this game. It's why people have a 360 for.

Opinion wont change on ign till E3. Its hard to believe now since E3 isn't here, but when E3 rolls around and they trash some of the 360's most impressive showings and don't scrutinize the ps3 stuff in any shape or form you'll see what I meant.

I mean they are a partner with sony now (big opportunity for them) no way will anything sony show be questioned or scrutinized. Everything will be accepted without question and they'll make it sound alot more impressive than it really is. I put money on it they don't show the 360 the same courtesy. I'm willing to bet they don't even admit just how great halo, blue dragon, mass effect, too human or anything else like that looked at E3. Regardless of what the 360 shows or announces at E3 in their eyes sony will come out on top EVEN if they only show motorstorm, warhawk and mgs4 against the 360's entire E3 lineup.

Okay now that you gotten that out the way. Optaviusx what you think about the game. I feel that the 360 has gotten a second wind here.

It was incredible last E3 not one person questioned what sony was showing at E3. Hell ign has said publicly what sony showed at GDC looks exactly like the E3 footage Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk I mean lets be real.

Motorstorm wasn't even playable and still nothing close to the E3 footage.

Yea on to the topic at hand. Its very impressive that they are pushing the type of graphical features they are such as HDR, the shader work is nicely done. Fully 3 dimensional grass. More polygons on 1 bike and rider combined than the cars in pgr3. Upwards of 20 bikes and still stay at 60fps with HDR + AA very impressive.

In the Q&A they said they aren't even talking models or textures anymore all shaders and when games get more shader heavy the 360 will really start to shine. There is a monster amount of potential for the 360's gpu it just needs its games to be heavy on the shaders.

It doesn't exactly need it, but much more impressive results will be achieved when 360 games are more shader heavy. With the amount of shader units available for pixel or vertex shader processing there is a crap load of untapped potential that to this day no game has even tried to exploit. Even motogp isn't exploiting it, but the developers know what they have to do which is a step in the right direction.

Now thats the Optaviusx I know. The 360 has alot to offer this year and I feel there is no question of the quality of games that they are going to present at E3. So Sony needs to come up with better games than just CG because thats not going to work for the public this time around..

Well one can't really blame sony most people have no idea what they are looking at so sony could probably successfully get away with CG this year, but we are sure they'll have many surprises in story for the 360 at E3, but for people in the know they are going to have to match up to the playable 360 stuff on display.

Without a doubt MGS4 will get the job done and will be a showstopper for sony, but Too Human, Mass Effect, Gears of War, Shadowrun and many others are coming full force, polished up products, no blurry or low quality videos people will see these in all their glory at E3 and so will 360 owners at home (any 360 owners worrying about the choice they made will have renewed confidence in the 360 come E3 (It'll be like the 360 launch all over again except this time the games will look like what they should've looked like had the titles not been rushed)

I meant in store for the 360 I said "in story" lol.

I can't wait for a playable demo of this - I loved 2 and 3 for PC. I prefer the gameplay to most car racing games. I Microsoft has the chance to really impress people this e3 if they release lots of playable demos and trailers from e3 on Xbox live - e3 is torture when you can see all this stuff but not play it and only download poor, low-res shaky videos. Being able to bring e3 to people instead of leaving them stuck in their homes wanting to go there will be great.

I've always thought of the Moto GP series as the Gran Turismo of Motorcycle racing...can't wait for this to hit the 360.

I might buy this one soo I can do tha same thing I do in Motogp 2005 for xbox...Example: Look at tha amazin graphics soo I can keep bittin' tha dust on my motorcycle

Yeah you can tell the first 360 games were rushed... (most of them). It's all Strategy. Now here comes the killer apps.

MotoGP is a great series I feel.
