Gaming To Be Demo Sport At Beijing Olympics? >
2006/05/31 14:15:34: Posted by DM
According to Gamespot, the founder of the Global Gaming League (GGL) is trying to get gaming included as a "demo" sport in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Ted Owen (GGL founder) has apparently been dicussing with the Chinese government the possibility of having gaming show at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics (according to CNN/Money's Chris Norris). If this happens it may be the first step towards making gaming a viable and professionally recognized sport.

Football's not even a damn sport, it's a GAME. Video GAMES are GAMES, not sports.
