I'm certainly not a tech guru, and I'm not trying to bash Wii (cause I want one), but I think the reasons the screens look "very impressive for a system that does not support HD" is becasue most captures come from the screen buffer - which is at a higher resolution than the console can actually display on a screen. Go back and look at early screens for Halo 2 - they are at least 720p - but the game isn't that high when it actually outputs through to the TV. Its only just now with the HD consoles that screen captures should realistically represent the actual games, because the res of the capture is the same as the actual output.

Please feel free to correct me if I am mistaken, tech-heads :)

Woo .. the inclusion of Pit strongly suggests that Icarus Wii is on the way. A sequel has been a long time comin'.

Fuzz you made a excellent point. With the type of technology today these companies could make their games look as fantastic as the competition. No matter if their systems could do those type of displays.

i would love to see a Kid Icarus on Wii, but Pit in smash bros doesnt suggest anything. Ness has been in the series from the start and the was no mother 3 on n64 or cube, only a recently released gba version, which doesnt even include ness, ages after melee was launched. also dr mario, mr. game and watch, ice climbers, none of them got games. all im saying is dont get your hopes up
