As we reported earlier today two new VMA categories, “Best Video Game Soundtrack” and “Best Video Game Score,” will be added this year. Well Funcom's Dreamfall: The Longest Journey orchestral score was nominated for an MTV VMA. "With ‘Dreamfall’, we wanted to create a unique and layered musical experience,” says game director Ragnar Tørnquist. “Our composer, Leon Willett, brought depth and texture to the orchestral score, which went hand in hand with Funcom’s philosophy to pay great attention to the sound and music in our games.
