it think it all comes down to how well the game sells. in terms of business a port to the ps3 is something they might have to do may refer to the need to port if the game doesnt sell up to expectations.

Just like how DMC4 MIGHT get ported to X360, because the sales of Dead Rising did so well on the X360...

games that come out for one system and server months on another system never sells good,case in point ever port from ps2 to xbox1 with the exception of gta. and the reason for this is the fact that the game was designed for one specific system, hideo kogima explained this along with his reason for not developing for multi platforms at the sametime. so with this said, i really doubt that it will come to ps3 and if it did there wouldnt be any real reason to purchase it because you could get it on a much cheaper system such as the xbox360, and why would you pay for a $600 game console just to play the same game with maybe the same quality, when you can just buy an xbox360 play it first in all of it's perfect glory. im a firm believer in getting it right the first time. so im sure that ive got it right buy purchasing an xbox360 first and im sure that capcom got it right also buy making this game on xbox360 exclusivly and if not exclusivly, FIRST :) so suck it all of you sony fans

Capcom has the history to prove that a good game ported to another system works. RE4 to PS2. I'd buy a 600 dollar system b/c of the features it includes that the 360 does not. I get a PS3 b/c of the games. I get a PS3 b/c I want to, just as I did w/ the 360.

^^^Uuhh... Sorry, thats pretty dumb. So, there was no reason to buy RE4 for the PS2 because you could have got it first for cheaper GC? Just to refresh your memory, RE4 for the Ps2 did have much worse graphics, and still that didnt stop it from selling very well.

Face it, 360 exclusives will get ported to the Wii and PS3 whatever you like it or don't. It is very probable that Dead Rising will eventually see a Ps3 release, just as it is probable that DMC4 might get released for the 360...

Anyway, It's not like Lost Planet is a system selling game, anyway... Capcom want to make money like all companys and it wouldnt be the first time Capcom "exclusives" get ported to other systems.

360 are doing better than many people tought , but this can is moment of glory can be over when ps3 exclusives start comming out.
