	According to Kikizo, the slogan for the Playstation 3 ad campaign has been revealed. "This Is Living," is the new phrase that you will hear spouted along with all the Sony PS3 advertising, and Kikizo even has a video to prove it. >Link

would be a more appropriate term for gaming

If "this is living" then the Playstation 3 is going to be dead soon, since it is a very disappointing system that is WAY over priced! It is over promising and under delivering...and Sony even lies about how long it is going to be fully supporting--10 years, YEAH RIGHT!!! This is the reason why Sony Playstation 3 is called Fony Playstation 3DO

I wouldn't go that far mike. There is no way the ps3 will die. It may be overpriced, but it will still succeed. Support from Square Enix guarantees as much and a lot of other developers guarantees as much.

The ps3 could never end up like 3D0 because people spend a lot more for equipment nowadays anyway plus the 3D0 has never had playstation calibur success so the ps3 will do well, but win the console I don't know.

bollox its practically the same as the ps2, the Wii's slogan should be "This Is Living," as its a new-ish form of gaming, imagine 4 Wii-motes 3 friends, beer and snacks now that is living.

Most product/corporate slogans are lame; the only one i like is 'Just Do It' from Nike.

"This is living.....if you have $600-1000 for 2-3 controllers, 2-3 games, wireless headset,etc... and did we mention the extra $100 for taxes?... Have fun living!"

If you don't have the money to get it or chose not to get it, don't. Otherwise, shut up. You all talk like the 360 was 99.99 or something. It wasn't exactly cheap.I bought mine and am still waiting for the killer app, do I think it is under delivering? Nah, I play it enough to make the purchase worth while. Mike, how is the PS3 not delivering? It isn't even out yet. When I am able to buy mine (unknown as to when b/c of shortages) I will, and I am supremely confident that it will deliver what I expect it to. When was the PS1 released? When was support for it finally stopped? How about the PS2? One of the biggest titles next year will be gracing that console. Support is strong. Your comments are not, and they dwell just a shade beneath almost being ridiculous.

Hell, for some it costs a living to own. For that price, I expect it to grow legs and play like Aibo.

If you dont have the money, shut up and buy a wii but dont come here how PS3 is underdelivering and overpriced. Some people actually have summer jobs, or actual jobs, not like the 14 year old brats that post in here...

The system itself is actually a pretty good deal since you get the blu-ray player. It's when you throw in all the games and controllers that everything adds up to a pretty large chunk of change. I have no interest in getting blu-ray or hd-dvd yet, so it kinda sucks that I'm buying forced to buy something that could be useless for watching movies in a few years.

Hoe, who ever said the PS3 is underdelivering? You're cutting it yourself by saying that. I personally dont think it is overpriced, but it is expensive. Everyone has their expectations.

Killer, you're right that it is a good deal considering it comes with Blu-Ray. Even though everyone is not as welcoming towards it, it will still beat the first consumer stand alone players by $400, almost the cost of the system.

And make a bunch of commercials that exaggerate what the ps3 can do to an extreme degree. People would actually like it. At the same time it would be sony making fun of themselves, but fans would really love and appreciate the humor in them.

Like have a guy wakeup in the morning press a button on his ps3 out comes shooting the toothpaste and a toothbrush comes out the side like power windows on a car. Then he goes into the kitchen puts the ps3 on top of the stove then turns on the fire and starts cooking breakfast when he finishes eating a moist napkin or something shoots out of the ps3 so he can wipe his mouth and hands then he plugs the ps3 into his hdtv and starts playing (he's really watching lord of the rings), but he has the controller in his hands acting as if thats the actual game :D

Then have it end off with some guy saying the ps3 will take over your living room... and all other parts of your home.

I guess it couldn't hurt for the guy to toast some bread using the ps3 as well lol.

I have to be fair on this one. It IS fair to say Sony is underdelivering as far as meeting deadlines. But it is NOT fair to say the PS3 is underdelivering until it has been launched and tried.

As for toasting bread, sure both systems can do that. Just put it over the vents on either system. Even my PC can do that.

Maybe they aren't making a reference to the experiences you'll have by playing the ps3 but instead warning everyone that the ps3 has a life of its own. They are saying: "Hey guys This thing is actually living and is trying to take over the world and destroy everyone!!'

I'll leave a video camara in my room at night to see what the ps3 is upto while I sleep....

This happens to be the ad campaign for Europe btw... I dont know if the U.s. will be the same.

It tells a lie that PS3 is not felt marvelous because I am a chicken. It tells a lie desperately that the reader doesn't buy PS3. It runs away cheating when the lie comes to light.
