I just picked the first one up for $10 in the bargain bin. Man, i didnt know what i was missing. Its crasy sick.

I've played all the console Zeldas, and GoW is a turning out to be a better franchise. No stupid monkeys to free and no artificially extended the length of the game.

God of war is my all time favorite game on Ps2. And god of war 2 was one of my favorite titles i played at e3 also :)

I dont know , but i dont like god of war. the whole idea of the game seems boring.

cant wait to see what GOW III will be like on ps3

It's a shame that since God of War 2 wont' be released until sometime in March of 2007 for the PS2, we won't be playing and sort of God of War 3 until sometime until 2009--at the earliest according to the games developers...since God of War 3 isn't even being developed yet, since the second one hasn't yet been released.

Buddy, you need to look at the present, because it is a gift. It's not a good idea to keep your head stuck in the future, looking forward to things that may never happen, or else you will end up missing out on a lot of fun in life.

The first God of War game on PS2 was pretty good, but I certainly think it isn't in the same league with the Zelda franchise. No offense, but only a handful of games can say they are in that league!

For crying out loud, the first God of War is just one game so far; how do we even know that the sequel will be able to pick up where the first left off. Look at how the first Legend of Zelda game was so fun, but many people say that The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link was by far the worst one in the series. The difference is that Zelda 3: A Link to the Past, and many others restored the name of Zelda.

In my opinion, a game "series" needs at least one sequel to prove that it is high quality before it is even mentioned in the same breath as the name, Zelda.

I like Devil May Cry more than GOW myself but still it is a great great game. How do we know that GOW2 is gonna be a great game? Well, how do we that Halo 3 is gonna be a great game? Especially with the mediocre results of Halo 2, regardless the sales.

The answer is WE DONT, but everything seems to point in that direction, so why be so negative? I trust he developers are doing a great job. I especially liked Jaffe's interview, I recomend watching it (@ gametrailers).

And personally I don't want sequels every year, every 2 years seem like a good window IMO.

To UTP: If u r indeed unbiased comment on your positive feedback on Halo VS the negative on GOW.

you dont know whats going on in the studios behind closed doors.... u dont know if GOW3 is in dev right now or not...it wouldent make sense for the creator (david jaffe) to admit if was in development obviously because it could hurt GOW2 sales... so please stop with your crazy rants

God of War was probably the best game I have ever played.

Judging by the looks of the second and from what I have seen, this looks like it will be better than the 1st!

Im at the conveyor belt chamber in God of War now (hey, its a new game to me); its a freakin bitch.

Anyways, I hope they tone down the platform jumping in gow2; hes a spartan warrior, not mario.

god of war was in my top 3 favourite games for the ps2 non stop addictive action with amazing graphics, great style and of course great gameplay if there is a god of war 3 for the ps3 this and mgs4 would convince me to buy it.
