God Of War PSP First Details, GoW 3 Tidbits, PS3 Vibration? >

	At the God Of War 2 launch event tonight, it seems that God Of War PSP was finally officially announced. The first details on the handheld title were also released. The game is not a port, it is a brand new story that ties into the console game story line. On top of that, there was a small tidbit of info on God Of War 3 revealed. The game will feature full 1080p support, SixAxis motion features, and get this, vibration features! I guess this means Sony has a vibrating pad planned. Rumor mill for now for the PS3 info. >Link

We have already seen this week that "rumors" end up not coming true.

If this ends up being true, then that will be good. I honestly think if Sony had first-party rumble control plans, we would have heard of thier intentions by now. I think the things Phil Harrison talked about, where things might come from third-party's with Function controllers will occur, though.

The really bad thing is that the second game in this God of War game series is only now at its launchpoint...like the developers of the game said, we won't be playing a God of War 3 game until sometime in 2009, at the earliest.

I agree with the article written about this that talks about how it is a shame that PS3 owners are looking forward to "rumors" about games that likely will not see a release until 2009, like God of War 3...or games like Final Fantasy 13, which definitely won't see a release until at least 2008 in Japan, but maybe not until 2009 in other parts of the world.

I am glad it looks like there may be a reason for me to dust of my PSP, though. It's always fun to have a nice handheld game when you go on a trip, like I often do for business.

The only games I play on my PSP are GTA: Vice City Stories & MGS: Portable Ops, but not for long :)

There's nothing but good news in that article. Of course there'll be waiting time for the good games to come out. What great game doesn't? I remember hearing about Halo 3 probably 2 years ago. Was that a bad thing?

i just hope they don't make it stupid with the sixaxis, the game is fine with the controls it has, i'll be looking forwars to god of war 3. psp verison, maby its not first person so it should be fine.

If they do with the sixaxis as Ninja Theory is doing w/ Heavenly Sword, it should be cool. Additional combos are always fun.

The sixaxis minigames should be fun.. shake the controller to smash an enemy's head to the ground.
