RE Producer Says SixAxis 'Not Sensitive Enough' For FPS Game >
2008/06/03 15:18:16: Posted by DM
Jun Takeuchi, Resident Evil 5 producer, said that the Playstation 3's SixAxis tilt control is not a viable option when it comes to aiming in an FPS game. He was responding to an inquiry from a European Journalist who raised the idea of a PS3 tilt-control system similar to the Wii RE4 edition. Despite this though, Takeuchi said he is fond of the PS3, and that the Sony edition of the game is "proceeding smoothly." The reason the journalist was shown an Xbox360 build is because Capcom had specifically asked for a console build of the game for the show, and the easiest thing for the team to do was dump current content from the development platform, PC, onto a debug 360. That is a quote from Eurogamer, not us.
