	Our friend Seth Schiesel from the New York Times has penned an article detailing just how the press conferences went at E3. He does relate that both Sony an Nintendo seriously underwhelmed the public, although Nintendo was not as bad as Sony, we think. 1st place - Sony

2nd place - MS

I actually agree with dudeman. DM, you seriously must be the one on crack now if you think that Nintendo did better than Sony. I'm a Nintendo fanboy and I think that Nintendo had one of the worst press conferences of the big 3 in the past 5 years. It was terrible. Sony and Microsoft were pretty equal, but I'd probably give the edge to Sony.

I agree. I enjoyed Nintendo's conference a bit more than Sony's. At least Nintendo was actually showing some innovation and not showing off "new" stuff and claiming it is new to consoles (i.e. video marketplace, GTTV). Nintendo isn't focusing on the past, either, which was a good move.

You guys can continue spinning that Sony conference all you want. Everyone knows that it was MS that came out on top once again.

Nintendo presentation was the worst in years. i agree with incoming00 that's exactly how it went down. Sony's LBP presentation was better the Nintendo's entire showing.

Nintendo and Sony didn't really do anything particuraly Sony at least nintendo showed technical advanced Sony had a few CGI clips and thats really it. 360 had the best showing by far, Resi, Final Fantasy, Fable, Gears + the other stuff.

The MotionPlus controller plugin is mainly what I was referring to.

that's not innovation, what innovative about it. It just slightly enhances what the wiimote already does they showed nothing we haven't seen before on we or could have been done. thats like calling the original Xbox 2nd controller(the smaller one) innovative because it's a step up from the 1st one.

I was saying that Nintendo was showing more innovative stuff. In essense, I was calling Sony's movie download and 'GTTV', both of which they claimed were new to consoles, complete rip-offs of 360s Video Marketplace and 'PGR-TV'.

Pimpdaddy: yes to both parts. I agree with dudeman. And I think Sony did better than Microsoft, but not by much. Nintendo was easily the worst.

Sony's presentation was the best delivered but the content wasn't that great. Nothing unexpected or exciting. Microsoft had the best content with new dashboard, FFXIII, new galaga etc. Nintendo's was just poorly delivered with shit content. Wii music is just horribly underwhelming.

Your statement was silly at best, their presentation wasn't innovative by any stretch if the imagination.

Once again what is this "innovative stuff" you witnessed that i didn't maybe you saw some special viewing of their conference or something.

Also None of the Big3 presented anything that i would consider innovative(maybe Microsoft using Netflix)

So, we have something that's zero. That's a '0' in case you're unsure. Now, if that zero ('0') is greater than something else, than that means that the something else in question is less than zero ('0').

That means that, in my opinion, Sony was so UN-inovative that it was an obvious rip-off.

Overall this years E3 sucked w/ regards to the 3 large press confrences. Sony's had the best presentation but didn't deliver, but neither did Nintendo nor MS. All MS really revealed was FFXIII, who cares about a dumb dashbord update and more content on Live,just like all the BS w/ PSN. At the very least, Sony revealed a new IP, but overall I think Nintendo will have the biggest impact comming out of E3. Why do I say Nintendo? Wii Sports Resort. Basicly everyone that has a Wii has Wii Sports and prob. plays that the most. Most of those users will most likley pick up Resort.

This years E3 is not for the Hardcore gamer, thus why everyone thats even following the E3 updates, to all the reporters feel let down.
