	It seems the exclusive Rockstar PS3 game that was touted by the developers about a year ago, is still not in development. In a recent interview on GameTrailers, Tretton himself admits (about 4:18) that they have "nothing definitive to announce" on that subject. GK: "Last year when you were on the show, you broke a little bit of news about this coming exclusive Rockstar, right? Do we have any update from that, about the next great franchise from rockstar?" Jack Tretton: I would love to tell you that we do, I hope something is imminent - but it's disappointing that we stand here a year later and don't have anything definitive to announce."

"Disappointment"

The word that has continuously and consistently used in association with the Playstation 3.

That and:

"Delay"

and

"Cancel"

and

"No Longer Exclusive"

...all of those words are common along the Fony WaitStation 3.

It's not misleading at all. He's not STATING that it's not happening, he's ASKING. Not the question mark at the end...

Reason why: Simple, because Playstation 3 is in a very distant third place behind the Wii and Xbox 360. That isn't going to change anytime within the next several years, because the lead that the Xbox 360 and Wii have over the Playstation 3 is far too large.



Bottom Line: Sony can "aim" for 150,000,000 systems sold all they want, but the Playstation 3 won't come close to hitting that target. Time after time, the Playstation 3 has failed to reach Sony's "sales goals." For example, Sony had said their sales goal was to sell 6,000,000 Playstation 3 systems by the spring of 2006. Sony had only been able to produce 5,500,000 systems by the spring of 2006 (which classifies as "sold" according to Sony's definition). However, of the 5,500,000 systems that were produced, there were only 1,400,000 "owners" of the Playstation 3 system.

ps3 is only 4 million behind. Shouldn't take Sony long to pass MS. They have completely blown their lead. MS is losing month to month and will be 3rd in 2009. The momentum is all for Sony and it is PROVEN that the 360 is NOT selling anymore.

I have been hearing that the PS3 was going to surpass the 360 since it launched. Hasn't happened yet. Could you wake me up when it does happen please???

He does not say the game is 'Still Not In Development' he says no info has come from Rockstar games. If you followed the handling of GTA 4 you should realise how Rockstar games work.

Thankfully, the "sales war" has come to an end now that Final Fantasy 13 is on the Xbox 360. Microsoft publicly announced the Xbox 360 would outsell the Playstation 3 worldwide this generation.
