ps3 is actually cheaper than the cheapest xbox 360 on the market if you think about all of the "accessories" that you will eventually have to buy. These come standard on the ps3 such as wifi, HD movie playback and free online gaming....

what?!? they're tryin' to convince me to spend a hell lot of big bucks for a hardware just "for potential", didn't they? seems that I've missed something in the meanwhile... for example, spending my money to play games, you know...

SDF can kiss my brown a$$ with thier justification of the PS3 price. wifi, Blu-Ray movie playback, and free online gaming aren't necessary. They are luxurys.

My 360 doesn't need to go online. Doesn't need wifi. Doesn't need to play Blu-Ray discs.

All it needs to do is play games. When the arcade 360 drops to $199.00 it's OVER!!!!! You get everything you need in the arcade for playing games. 360. Controller. AV cables. Memory card. DONE.

Everything else is optional. Wan't mass storage buy a HDD. Wan't to play online buy a HDD. Wan't to watch Blu-Ray movies go buy a PS3 I mean um get a Blu-Ray player. On second thought go buy a PS3 :p

I really love my PS3, although it's a bit pricey, but in the long run I can actually upgrade as much as I want without worrying price, and with Online free, Thank God!

Sure Xbox 360 is cheaper, but that's the point, because everything in accessories that becomes complete console entertainment, will cost you three times more than the PS3 itself.

Look at HDD, and look HD-DVD and look at all the expensive accessories they have to offer..

and I have 5 gig alone is of HD trailers and Gameplay trailers, I got crappy resolution movies of 6 gig (imagine HD movies)

I can keep on going PimpD, and If i want to upgrade, I dont have to worry about spending so much money jsut for 120 gig when I can just buy it same price for 1 Terabytes...

Oh not to mention, If I ever do upgrade it, then I can take the 40 gig and have it as a backup hard drive or keep it as Portable HDD, since it is a Laptop Hard Drive. See it's very valueable after you don't need it for PS3.

the fundamental thing missing from the ps3 is any decent games.. it doesn't have a single game that would make me want to buy one. Who cares if it has free online or a fucking gay wifi antenna... that's not what you buy a GAMES console for..... Its for playing games for christ sake and that's where its trailing behind the 360 as it hasn't anything to offer in that department. The 360 is A LOT cheaper to buy than the ps3 and does its job much better.... I cant understand why anyone would buy a ps3 over a 360, even the multi format games are ALL better on the 360. Its basically a blue ray player that just happens to play 360 ports badly.

Me I would love to own Xbox 360 in no time, but I do have money issue but even if i have money, I'm afraid with the system and the RROD issue, I think i'll wait till that gets fix, maybe the 60 gig might be the better version.

Actually oblivion is better on the ps3. That's not just me saying that....but IGN. It is more complete since it adds the KOTN expansion for no extra cost. It has faster load times AND has better graphics with improved shader technology.

Hello Fellow Gamers. WTF is this Potential crap...yet again!!?? You know that I can watch Blu-ray movies on my X360. I just stream them via network or use a 1TB external drive that contains a lot of Blu-ray Hi-Def movies (No Blu-ray or HDDVD drive required). The RROD thing has played out(Get Over It already).

The fact is M$ isn't going anywhere anytime soon. M$ has tons.. I repeat.. TONS on money to throw behind the X360. Sony & Nintendo don't have that luxury.

I'm very pleased that an AMERICAN COMPANY is kicking the $h!t out of the Japanese competitors for a change. Just goes to show that we Americans can still be the BEST.

@Pimpdaddy...I played Warhawk for a while today and got used and abused by everyone. I suck SO bad at that game it hurts to even think about it. Everytime i get into a plane it's like a silent countdown to my death...LOL. I usually last about 10 seconds before someone explodes my plan with a missile. Hopefully more people decide to talk during Saturdays game. I sent DM a XBL message about the Warhawk game and he said he would play if you sent him the details.

BlackTiger I only worked part of 1 day last week away from home. The rest of the stuff I did was from home for my clients. PSN was up all day. Never once seen you signed in.

I can't check to see if your online or verify because I am at a clients at the moment removing spyware from a computer. But I am sure if you told JB33 your PSN ID he could verify... It's 9:54 PM here.

It's just funny that a guy like you who claims to won a PS3 is never online. I have PSN up all the time. Like I said I see guys like incoming00, dudeman, jb33, and kungfurabbit on a regular basis.

The reason we wan't to do WarHawk is becuase it is a PS3 exclusive. If we wanted to play those other game syou claim to own we would do them on the 360. If I need a game i got the hookup with free rentals here where I live. So I don't buy many games till they are discounted. Very rarely do I think a game is worth 60 dollars.

I'm not poor. I just grew up that way being that we had a family of 9 growing up and the military didn't pay very well back then.

So I spend my middle class income carefully.

PS3 does NOT come with Rumble in the controller...so that means you will have to spend $60 extra dollars if you want to add the "potential" for that feature. Unfortunately, most Playstation 3 games STILL do NOT support RUMBLE in the controller!

Also,

Playstation 3 does NOT come with a high-definition cable of ANY kind...so that means you will also have to spend money to buy a cable!

PS3 has plenty of "extra" hidden costs of its own.

360 does not come with a high definitoin movie player, wifi OR a charge cable. For every xbox you buy you will spend an extra $200 atleast in accessories alone. $300 if you buy the arcade. PS3 is hands down the best buy.

You also have to pay $50 PER YEAR just to play online with your friend!!!
