	Rare has told CVG that they are already thinking about the next installment of the Banjo series. It is likely to expand on the vehicle building concept that the new and not-even-released-yet Banjo game, Nuts & Bolts, is going to pioneer. Rare has a few "crazy ideas," says the developers, for the new gaming concept that Nuts & Bolts is apparently going to introduce. Sounds interesting, at the least. "[Nuts & Bolts] is like an introduction to what we could do," senior animator Ellissa Miller told CVG. "If we went on and did some more then we could push it. If it was accepted and people enjoyed it then we could definitely push it in a much bigger direction. This is like an opening to a new type of gaming I guess." >Link

I was starting to think that MS doesn't have any more good platformers other than Kameo. I'll Check this out and see if I like it.

Also DM is assuming, expanding on the concept can branch into more than just making vehicles.

God Damn you SKY have you even looked at the vids for this, its pretty decent, if there building on from this game it can only be good.

Its obvious that they have no idea why Banjo Kazooie was so popular. They are destroying it trying to make it appeal to the nerd 360 fanbase ("OMG!!!11 its teh way betterz thn teh rachet'n'clAK hahah lolr0fl R0x0rz!!!") instead of those that liked the originals.

Next thing you know, itll be an online shooter :S.

Note that im not implying that all 360 players are nerd morons, plenty of them are normal.

I wasn't trying to imply you or everyone even, just the people who judge games before playing it, those who want more of the same just to b!tch about said games being the same but in HD, and those who say every game sucks that doesn't appeal to them.

The game is about "contraptions". In the past games you would gain new abilities to gain access to new areas, or something like that. Nothing new in a platformer 10 years ago and definately not new now.

Well now instead of gaining a new ability, the option is up to you to deal with the challenge however way you can using parts to build your own machine, vehicles, or whatever.

I won't jump on the love bandwagon, I'm not big into platformers anyways, but I really won't hate on this game for trying something new. 90% of the original Banjo team is making this, so it's in the right hands.

Besides for $40, and the original Banjo for free on top of it, you really can't hold that much against the game.

I'm sure, of course, that Sky will find reasons.

I really was clueless, so I took no offense. I do agree, some "hardcore gamers" are dismissing LBP for the exact same reasons (ie, no clue or lack of interest). I think the level design aspect of LBP will be awesome. This game doesn't interest me, but if others enjoy it then go for it. Now the Wii on the other hand..... :-D

That's the argument I wanted to make but, yes its posible for them to have a great game, but its much more possible if they just continue from sequel !!!

Well the only real disappointment for me would have been Grabbed by the Ghoulies.

Kameo and PDS were xbox ports, to expect beyond what we got from them is just ignorant and Kameo is still one of the best looking platformers out.

Viva Pinata is a great game.......if you care for that sort of monster rancher type game.

So yeah, let's judge a company based on those kinds of hurdles, makes REAL sense *rolls eyes*
