	Finally, the PSN title we have all been waiting for, Wipeout HD, has an official date. September 25, 2008 will be the day players finally get to take part in the stunning visual, booming soundtrack, and gameplay that supposedly makes up the enhanced future racer. I dont know, I never like Wipeout, but I dont mind getting it to try... since it is 1080p !

^^^Seriously...What games DO you like planet blacktiger ? Is there any game that you like or do you hate everything ?

Wipeout HD looks pretty great, Day 1 purchase for me. Don't know how you could go wrong spending $20 on this.

blacktiger: LMAO. It's 1080P so thats why you want it? How about it's a fun racer. How about it's only 20 bucks. GTFO with 1080P. You do know that since it is 1080P there had to be sacrifices made right? I would ahve preferred a 720P game with all the bells and whistles personally.

1080P and HDMI 1.3 only matters to me because I have a 1080P LCD HDTV for Blu-Ray movies.

What's next? It's 4D so I'm getting it?

you forgot im a graphic whore, but i would never buy this game because wipeout to me never interest me!

Now if you got problem because no 360 game has 1080p, then sorry man its not my problem....

Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, too many other games to mention looked pretty darn good at sub 720p visuals blacktiger. 1080p won't make a game great. The first Sony published/developed NBA title ran at 1080P and was pretty much terrible. Don't let a resolution be your purpose for buying a game. I'm a graphic wh*re also, but I can appreciate a good game regardless of it's visuals (Castlevania SoTN still one of my favorite games).

blacktiger: Thats my point your still on this whole 1080P, 4D, and Cell trip like the PS3 has better graphics than the 360. Give it a rest. Both consoles have great games. Just so you know there isn't a game that is true native 1080P 1920x1080 progressive resolution on either the PS3 or 360.

All of the supposed 1080P resolution games have been proven to actually have native resolutions below those specs.

VaeVictus again, I didn't say i want to buy the game because its going to be a great game, I just wana give it a try because of 1080 resolution and i saw the gameplay, it was a blown, Beautiful visual...

Now if it looks no different to you guys, then i guess you should stick with halo 3, i dont know why you guys going upside down...? for !

And yes I agree Call of Duty 4 is also amazing...
