Microsoft has commissioned House Party, an outside company, to send free Xbox 360 packages to 1000 women across the US. The winners agree to invite 10 friends or relatives over for a party to play Scene It over Xbox Live. The new tactic is Microsoft's way of going after the female and family demographic that the Nintendo Wii seems to have locked up.

clever, not too sure it will attract many more to play the 360 but still not a bad idea.

The more girls on Live, the better, but it sucks that they'll all be playing these crappy games.
