In case you missed this one over the weekend, we bring it to you. On his blog, Infinity Ward's director Robert Bowling has called out Activision producer Noah Heller for statements Heller made in a recent interview about Call of Duty 5. Bowling said that when Heller compared the most recent CoD game to previous CoD titles, he was "completely fuc*ing wrong." He then went on a stunning tirade of insults and foul language, as you can see on his blog at the link. Why he responded so violently to something akin to a compliment is anyone's guess, what will happen to Bowling after this is hard to say, but we expect consequences.

"A rule of thumb I like to use is... when promoting your game, promote your game. Don't compare it to another game, or reference what other games did in the past, pitch your game," wrote Bowling. "Especially when you're pulling shit out of your ass. Come on man, interview about your game. Not ours! Call of Duty: World at War can stand on it’s own merits, leave ours out of it."

Activison has announced a new deal with Active Music, a distributing partner who will help put Guitar Hero in musical equipment stores across the UK. This is certainly a smart move, and we are not sure why it has not been thought of before. No word on a USA deal yet.

As we told you yesterday, users were complaining that the Drum Kit and other instruments from Guitar Hero World Tour were faulty or incompatible. Well, Activision has addressed the drum issue first, it seems. The drum pads are supposed to be pressure sensitive -- the harder you hit the louder it sounds. Well, this is just plain not working for a lot of users. Activision is aware of the issue, and is looking into offering a free "drum tuning kit" for setting the pressure sensitivity, we guess. Click read more for the official statement from Activision Customer Support.

Apparently, the instrument accessories bundled with Guitar Hero World Tour are not as quality as gamers would have hoped. Over at the official GH forums, there were so many complaints about downstrumming not responding after a few hours (Rock Band guitars have the same issue, actually), as well as other issues with the other instruments, that Activision now has a URL posted for gamers to contact with their issues. On top of that, PS3 owners gave found that the GH drum set is not recognized by Rock Band 2, even though it is supposed to, apparently. A patch is likely forthcoming on that one, though.

THQ has filed suit against ActiBliz in California for copyright infringement. THQ claims that the Activision-Blizzard game "SCORE International Baja 1000" directly copies box art from THQ's "Baja: Edge Of Control." Once you look at the box art images, it is almost uncanny how similar they are. We think this one will go THQ's way.

Believe it or not, zombies have made their way into Call of Duty, of all games. The zombie mode unlocks when you complete the main campaign, and has four players battling against waves of Nazi Zombies. Holy cow! This is certainly a refreshing, if weird, addition. It sounds fun, though. The waves keep coming, and players can use the cash earned to buy weapons and other upgrades.

Even though Call of Duty: World at War has literally just begin its beta days ago, developer Treyarch has not ruled out the possibility of more WWII-themed Call of Duty games. Speaking to CVG, senior producer Noah Heller said that there are still WWII battles to be explored. Oh well.

"I can't say that there won't ever be a WWII Call of Duty game again, but we're glad we were able to end the war and we're glad we're going to support the title with lots of downloadable content," Heller said.

IGN has a video of deathmatch gameplay from the upcoming Call of Duty: World at War. The footage looks pretty much the same as the deathmatch gameplay now from CoD4, it has not changed much. You can decide for yourself, though.
