A new Wipeout game is on the way to the PSP, and it is called Wipeout Pulse. Not many other details were revealed about the game at this point, but we should get an official press release this week. Stay tuned.

Rockstar and super-producer Timbaland have teamed up to bring ROckstar's music software Beaterator to the Sony PSP. Sony UK Managing Director Ray Maguire has confirmed that Sony in indeed working on a redesigned PSP model. Speaking at the ntional launch of Sony's PSP in Education initiative, Maguire told the invited press, teachers, and educators that the current PSP is just the "first iteration." A "smaller, lighter" system will be introduced in the future. It seems between the new rumble enabled PS3 pads and this new PSP, Sony has no problem makign us re-spend our money on their products.

At the God Of War 2 launch event tonight, it seems that God Of War PSP was finally officially announced. The first details on the handheld title were also released. The game is not a port, it is a brand new story that ties into the console game story line.On top of that, there was a small tidbit of info on God Of War 3 revealed. The game will feature full 1080p support, SixAxis motion features, and get this, vibration features! I guess this means Sony has a vibrating pad planned. Rumor mill for now for the PS3 info.

In a recent blog update over at 1UP, one of the editors posted pictures of his copy of God Of War, which he received early. The thing is, one of the snapshots had an image of the back cover of one of the game's booklets. On that back cover was a teaser ad for God Of War PSP. The image has since been removed, but do not fear folks, we have obtained a copy for you. Click the link to see for yourself.
