Sony is planning to make almost every PSP game that is released after October 1, 2009, downloadable. They would have to, since the PSP GO will not have a UMD drive. Even though the new sexy handheld is designed more for multimedia applications, it is still a gaming unit at heart. Without games, it is just a media player with bad battery life.
