It is not often we get to use our DC category here, so this is good news. Wind & Water Puzzle Battles is being released for the good old Dreamcast! The puzzle game was first released on the Korean GP2X handheld. If you order from the website in the first two weeks, you can even get your own personalized avatar programmed right into the game. Check it out, and live on, Dreamcast! You can see the game in action below.

Ahhh, the Dreamcast.9/9/99 was one of the best days ever.I just read a review today that talked about how Dreamcast has the best launch ever in gaming history. Soul Caliber 4 is a great game, but there are other games with better graphics. For example, Dead or Alive 4 completely blows Soul Caliber 4 out of the water! But, that's the sort of crap you have to put up with when you release a multi-platform game that is made using a "lowest-common denominator" mentality that is limited to 275,000,000 polygons per second because that's all the Playstation 3 GPU can handle. Xbox 360 can handle far more--500,000,000.
Dreamcast didn't have to deal with that sort of limitation. The developers could completely max out the hardware, especially because they had Final Development Kits since Dreamcast launched a year late in order to make things perfect! And it showed, because Soul Caliber was AWESOME!I downloaded Soul Caliber on Xbox Live Arcade, and the graphics are even better than on the Dreamcast, because it is in High Defintion and the audio is in 5.1. But, some of the Quest mode stuff isn't there, so I still rank the Dreamcast version higher.I'm glad to see that Dreamcast still gets games. Microsoft helped Sega build the Dreamcast...it's a shame that Sega didn't have the money to support it.
