	This is for the rumor mill for now, but according to Eurogamer, sources have told WTP that there will be a Nintendo Wii HD coming soon. The hardware has apparently been shown already to developers behind closed doors, and will be announced at the mysterious Nintendo conference tomorrow. Stay tuned. >Link

As long as the Wii is selling like it is, it'll never be too late to announce this.

I'm VERY skeptical. I could maybe see a Wii with an HDMI port and upscaling hardware, but I somehow doubt Nintendo will release a whole new platform with different specs that developers are going to have to develop around, especially when the existing Wii is still selling like hotcakes. The success of the Wii has proven that the market for HD isn't big enough yet to waste resources on if you're only interested in making huge cash.
