WIi Motion Plus Sells 169,000 Stand ALone Units > |

The new Nintendo Wii MotionPlus peripheral sold 169,000 units during the month of June in the US. The unit launched on June 8, 2009, and cost just $19.99 USD. It was sold alone and along with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. The 169,00 units do not include the Tiger Woods units. It has dropped sales a bit in July, but once Wii Sports Resort gets released in the US, it should pick up again. Another winner for Nintendo, likely.
