Codemaster's Ashes Cricket 2009 game has topped the UK chart, knocking off the Nintendo heavyweight, Wii Sports Resort. The most recent chart track figures revealed that the new cricket video game makes it close to EA's recent Fight Night Round 4 sales. It also marks the first time a UK developer has held the top of the all-formats chart since Eidos did back in 2007 with Battlestations Midway.
