EA announced today that they will be releasing Rugby 06 for the PS2 and XBox. THe game is being developed by EA Canada, the makers of FIFA and NHL. Rugby has not had a yearly showing in a while, but now it seems the market will be able to handle yet another yearly EA title.CHERTSEY, Surrey. – November 5, 2005 – Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) the World's leading interactive entertainment software company, announced today that EA SPORTSTM Rugby 06, from the makers of the hit franchises FIFA and NHL, is currently under development at EA Canada and HB Studios for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Xbox® videogame system from Microsoft and PC.
