Ubisoft has already begun work on Red Steel 2 it seems. According to the next issue of the Official Nintendo Magazine, Red Steel 2 will be featured in an article. The magazine will also detail the online portion of the game, which is said to be full-featured. While the Official Nintendo Mag did not 100% confirm that the next issue will feature info on the sequel, you can see for yourself the image at the link which seems to all but confirm it.
