This PC lineup of Games for Windows really is amazing.

I was impressed with the way Microsoft gathered all of that information and showed all of the sales data with graphs and charts. That proved it was based on facts.

With a lineup of games like this, there is absolutely no doubt that the videogame industry sales records of 2004 will be shattered thanks to the Xbox 360.

I remember that 2004 year very clearly. Like Microsoft said, that was the year when Halo, Grand Theft Auto, and Madden Football all experienced record breaking sales that made 2004 the best Holiday sales season ever.

This year, the Xbox 360 is the only system that gets Halo 3, the only system that gets the complete version of Grand Theft Auto 4, and the only system that gets Madden Football at 60 frames per second.

Mass Effect will be released in November, along with Splinter Cell: Conviction, Rock Band, Assassins Creed, Call of Duty 4, and SO MANY OTHERS. It is very easy to see why Microsoft says 2007 will be the most successful year in the history of videogames. The 2007 Holiday lineup of Xbox 360 games really is the best lineup of games in the history of console gaming.

The way Microsoft now has it set up so the Unreal Engine now automatically has Games for Windows built into is is basically like saying the PC and the Xbox 360 are the exact same piece of hardware in terms of design. That will be a HUGE advantage for both PC and Xbox 360 in the future. Xbox 360 and PC already enjoy an advantage because they are so similar, and because the versions of Unreal are so similar, but now it will be an even bigger advantage.
