	Epic has confirmed that there will be no cross platform play for Unreal Tournament 3. In an IRC chat conducted yesterday featuring members of Epic's UT3 team, Epic VP Mark Rein finally confirmed that the game will not feature cross-platform multiplayer at launch. I'm glad. PSN is a joke. Its going to be hard enough to get the game working on PSN correctly.

The PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 is FAR better than the Playstation 3 version, so this doesn't really matter anyways.

Unreal games have never sold well on consoles, so this isn't much of a loss for the people who will buy the game on the PC.



This is a BIG loss for PS3 gamers, though, because Unreal Tournament 3 likely won't sell well on that system. After all, the performance of the PC version is FAR BETTER than the Playstation 3 version. There will be a small number of PS3 people to compete against, and that is annoying when you don't have people to play against.

If I get Unreal Tournament 3, I will get the PC version all the way, because of 60 frames per second at 1,200p resolution with all the levels and maps...while the Playstation 3 version is only 30 frames per second at 720p, and some of the Maps and Levels are missing.

the pc will have the best version and the 360 will have the worst version. If you dont want to spend 500+ for a top video card best stick with the PS3 version that has free online and mouse kb support.
