Ya good job Sony. Way to downgrade your only "Next Generation" console by putting "Last Generation" force feedback in your controllers. :p

the fact that sony knew from the begining...weird, i bought PS3 and I didnt even notice a different from having rumble pack and not having one...

blacktiger: You know what BlackTiger I have to agree with you. I didn't notice the lack of rumble either. Seeing as how I never felt the need to use the PS3 when I owned it :pJK. Seriously though I didnt like how light the controller felt in my hand, so I would think that would be a bigger bonus than just the force feedback. It will actually feel like a real controller again...

Charging $54.99 for a controller that has so little value...that is pathetic.Rather than discontinuing the current $49.99 controller, and selling this one for $49.99, Sony decides to release this one for $54.99 and allow the two controllers to co-exist. That is a logistics mistake because of the lack of shelf-space at stores. The fact that there are only two-dozen games that are compatible with this controller is PATHETIC.I wonder how long this controller will be on the market, since the 5.9 million PS3 "owners" in the world supposedly don't like the rumble feature anyways...or were they just making fanboy excuses for the PS3's inferiority to the Xbox 360 and Wii.

Hey Krogan what about Xbox360, the standard controller is wired instead of wireless i think thats the worse....

blacktiger,The controller that comes with the Xbox 360 is wireless; that makes it the "standard" controller. But regardless of whether or not a controller is "standard," there are always going to be people who want a wired controller; that way they never have to deal with any sort of battery replacement.
