Sony has admitted that they need to revitalize the development community for its handheld, the PSP. While the in-house teams at SCE are chruning out titles, the third-poarty support has dropped off considerably in the last year or two. Sony now hopes to make it as easy to develop games for the PSP as it is for the DS with a new initiative.

"We need to revitalise the developer community to get behind PSP," said Zeno Colaco, VP of publisher and developer relations for Sony Europe.
