Using 3D Technology For Games Is 'Dumb' Says Rein > |

Epic Games' VP, Mark Rein, has dismissed stereoscopic technology for use with games. This comes after Ubisoft revealed that they plan to develop games with the 3D technology. Rein revealed that the UE3 engine supports S-3D technology, but he does not expect it to be used in a widespread fashion. Apparently, users will need to buy a new screen -- a fairly big obstacle for most users.
