Sony To Boost Marketing Budget To Push HDTV & PS3 >
2006/03/27 15:08:26: Posted by DM
According to Reuters, Sony is about to give its marketing budget a boost in order to push the new HDTV and Playstation 3 Blu-Ray products. No real surprise there, but they are planning to spend somehwere in the neighborhood of $300 million dollars on advertising alone. That's alotta cheese, I wonder if sony would give me a few million to advertise the inside of my pocket.

Sure DM, but only if the inside of your pocket will make them lots of money. And do you by any chance know how much money Apple have spent on their ipod marketing campaign?

300 sounds about right, covering their tv lines, stand alone players in general as well as the ps3.

I like this if it does make the sheep buy more hdtv sets, more shows and service providers will make the HD jump :)
