WoW !! To anyone who wants to read some horrible ps3 news go to /www.eurasia.nu/ and read article 'Ps3 hardware slow and broken'

Saw it 3 days ago the part about it that makes it worse is that aside from the guy on the the inquirer being a idiot and not knowing how to explain the information.. the information is actually 100% accurate in regards to the rsx triangle setup rate and the cell issue, but the cell issue isn't as bad as he claims it is calling it broken is just dumb. Some ps3 devs have actually confirmed the info rsx seems easily fixable come launch, but the fact there are problems right now pretty much guarantees sony might not hit 6 mil by march 2007. Cell on the otherhand.. I have no idea how they intend to fix that issue sony showed it publicly and haven't said anything along the lines of it being fixed. The ps3 is suppose to have more raw horsepower, but if such things hinder the ps3 come launch the 360 will be the console with the most raw horsepower.
One way or another raw horsepower means nothing for the 360 because regardless of what the ps3 has under the hood the 360 has all the right things needed to outperform raw horsepower due to its gpu design and the smart cpu choice by Microsoft. Ease of programmability is where its at and the 360 has games like GTA coming as well and thats a very big move in a number of ways because other devs understand the success of GTA and knows it'll move consoles meaning they should also support the 360. Basically the market share advantage causes a domino effect so the 360 is pretty much guaranteed strong developer support.
I wouldn't worry too much about RSX though 600 SE that will likely be fixed, but cell... that seems like a serious issue.
