Far Cry Patch for XBOX 360 Goes up This Weekish >

	Between the linked Ubisoft dev team forum post and it being Monday, we're looking at an imminent release (like this week) of a nice little patch for Far Cry Instincts: Predator for the XBOX 360 (pending the trials and tribulations of Microsoft's lengthly code certification). This patch fixes a lot of things that can make this otherwise enjoyable shooter a bit aggrevating. The biggest fix of course being able to switch the game type within the game lobby. The patch also tweaks some control response for both movement and aiming, which should make sniping a little more intuitive and less likely to make you throw your controller out the window. UPDATE: No patch today. Things like this usually go up quite quickly though, don't lose faith. >Link

I love making maps for far cry Maybe the game will be playable now.

This will help the game a lot; I am glad that Xbox 360 games can receive patches like this. But what about people that purchase the game who don't have Internet access? I think it would be a better idea for game companies to make smaller productions of videogames. For example, make the first shipment large enough to meet the initial demand, then, include patches made for the game with the second shipment. If there are newer patches or improvements that need to be made to the second release, then include those patches and updates in the next production run of the game. That way, consumers will be happy all the time, whether they have Internet access or not.

Whats the point of owning a xbox 360 without having internet access? Also most patches like this mainly fix issues with online play. Hence the
