Kynapse Selected For SEGA’s Next Generation Sonic >

Sonic the Hedgehog is still an early point in its development, but today Kynogon has announced today that SEGA has licensed Kynapse to develop Sonic for 360/Ps3. Click read more for full press release.

announced today that SEGA has licensed Kynapse to develop its million-seller title, Sonic on Xbox60TM and PLAYSTATION®3.
Since his birth 15 years ago, Sonic The Hedgehog has been a phenomenal mass-market success.
More than 44 million units have been sold worldwide. The legendary Sonic mascot is one of the most
recognized and celebrated video game characters of all.

sonic is not early in it's development, it is scheduled to be released this fall/winter. also i dont believe this means that Kynogon is developing the whole title (that is being handled by the sonic team) but instead is developing the AI for the title.
