	COntrary to previous reports, Sega's upcoming MMO sequel will cost gamers ten dollars a month to play on the XBox360. According to PlanetXBox360, Orange Lounge Radio, who originally reported the game would be free to play, corrected themselves when they received an email from Sega. Phantasy Star isnt that great anyway ;] i know this is off topic but whatever happened to Huxley? That game looked really good last year and now no one hasnt mentioned it since the 360 launch.

Paying extra for a MMO is Bullshit. If it is on LIVE it should be FREE.

Not that I have the 10 spare hours a day that MMORPG's require.

Especially for games like Huxley or Shadowrun that can be played on a 360 and a PC at the same time.

A game like Phantasy Star , worth the admission just like Dreamcast

Hello Fellow Gamers. SEGA has alwyas charged for the Phantasy Star series since the days of the DreamCast. Other companies charge for MMO online play. SONY (EverQuest Series), Cryptic Studios (City of Heroes/Villains), World Of WarCraft, etc....They also charge more than $10.

@ Jon - WTF are you talking about no keyboard. PSO has been voice since day 1 on the original xbox & will be voice on the X360. Dude get with the program.

I've never played an MMO of any stripe. Was ff12 on the ps2 voice enabled? How many PC titles are voice capable outside of LAN parties?

i'll be canceling my preorder for PSU. i'd love to play it but i'm not paying $60 for the game and then another $10 each month to play when i already pay for xbox live each year.

I think Jon was talking about the Dreamcast version when he made a reference to the keyboard being used to communicate with other gamers. Obviously, the Xbox and Xbox 360 use the headset/microphone that comes with the system to communicate with other gamers by voice through their choice of either the headset or their speakers. Phantasy Star Universe on the Xbox 360 is WAAAAAY better than Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast.
