	This is probably not news to anyone, but the fact that gamers can download the Halo 3 beta if they pre-order Crackdown has boosted the pre-sales by 1/4. Shocking, we know. >Link

Is it just w/ preorder? I really want the Beta, but don't know if I want to spend 60 bucks to play the Beta.

I was in line buying Lost Planet, and I mentioned the Halo 3 to a guy that I had seen about a month earlier when we were talking about the Halo 3 commercial that was shown during Monday Night Football. We were talking about how everyone was looking forward to Halo 3, and I pointed out that Crackdown is going to be a great Xbox 360 game that plays similar to Grand Theft Auto, but it has new features and amazing graphics...

I then pointed out that it also has a demo of Halo 3 on it. EVERYONE's eyes opened up and they took breaths in and the one person said, "That demo of Halo 3 would be reason enough to buy Crackdown, just to play Halo 3!!!" Everyone agreed with him, but I kept on pointing out that Crackdown has been receiving a LOT of hype for a very long time, because it is a great game.

I have to admit, I probably will put in the Halo 3 demo before the Crackdown game, but I know I will be spending a LOT of time with Crackdown, because it has apparently lived up to the hype!

So it will be included w/ the game, not a d/l?

slightly off topic but looks like the crackdown demo going to be 1.24 GB and a 1 hour timed demo

The crackdown demo will hit marketplace on Tuesday (the 23rd) at 2am pacific time.

A friend of mine who got this game from Partnernet through the debug kit which came out wasn't too thrilled on this game, he also mentions how it uses a similiar targeting system like Scarface.

He dubbed it as average :>

I'll try this game out and might like it, but halo 3 is gonna make me wanna purchase it, not this game

I'll be buying Crackdown regardless, it's just a bonus the Halo 3 Beta.
