	In an interview with Dengeki Playstation of Japan, FF main man Tetsuya Nomura has revealed that he likes to work on only one project at a time. Since his current focus is his mobile game Monotone, this means that more than likely, FFXIII Versus is ostensibly on hold. More info when we have it. >Link

good news and bad news I guess

This isn't a surprise. I don't remember any Final Fantasy for a home console that didn't have lots of delays with the release. When you consider that games this generation are more time consuming to develop, especially on the PS3, this really truly is not a surprise at all, particularly when you consider all of the delays that Final Fantasy 13 is experiencing.

I agree with Sky that it's always a good thing when a developer takes the necessary time to make sure the game is at its best when it is released.

However, the Playstation 3 is at a point where it desperately needs games. The Bank of America recently said that even if Sony were to drop the price of the Playstation by $200 it wouldn't matter because of the lack of exclusive games. When games like Final Fantasy 13 and FF13 Versus are delayed, it hurts really bad.

I agree with the people who say that each day games like this are delayed, it vastly increases the chances that the games will see a release on Xbox 360 and PC at the same time as the PS3 or shortly afterwards.
