Itagaki Says Gaiden 2 Will Make Other Devs Loose Motivation >

	It seems the legendary creator of Dead Or Alive, Tomonobu Itagaki, claims that when other developers view Ninja Gaiden 2, they will loose all motivation and want to stop work on their own individual projects. A bold statement indeed, but we would expect nothing less flamboyant from Itagaki. GI: Games like Code Cronos and Ninja Gaiden 2 have been sort of waiting in the wings for quite a while now. Do you think we’ll be hearing some announcements about those titles in 2007? Itagaki: I’d like to show everybody some of the new stuff that we’ve been working on in the near future. The only problem with that is that when the other developers see what we’re doing, they’re going to lose all of their motivation to create any game in the same genre, because there’s no way they can beat it. >Link

Itagaki is right up there with Sakaguchi and Kojima as my favorite developer. The guy is a visionary...and a rock star! I know NG2 will wipe the floor with DMC4, Heavenly Sword, God of War 3, whatever. I just think back to the leap from DOA1 to DOA2 and imagine that it will be similar with Ninja Gaiden.

Well the legends speaks, I hope he can put is money where he's mouth is.

I'm a huge ninja gaiden fan, so i hope he backs it up.

has he ever failed to live up to his hype? i don't know so i'm just asking.

Itagaki don't fail me I need another action/adventure & fighting game that kicks ass.

@Jlemdon, I'm wit you, I have to lay off the First person shooters or any other games that has shootin in it.

yeah I mean it's okay that shooting games is the marking for this generation but c'mon developers don't you guys miss the days of final fight and street fighter.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is going be an AWESOME Xbox 360 game...that goes without saying!

But Itagaki-san is now raising our hope SO HIGH that it is absolutely amazing!!!
